How is Metorik better than WooCommerce Subscriptions reporting?

Does this work with Shopify Subscriptions?

No. Metorik's subscription reporting is currently available exclusively for stores using WooCommerce Subscriptions.

How is Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) calculated in Metorik?

MRR is calculated by normalizing the revenue from all active subscriptions into a 30-day period. For example, a $120 annual subscription contributes $10 to MRR. This gives you the most accurate, standardized view of your monthly revenue growth.

What is a cohort report and why is it important for my business?

A cohort report groups your subscribers by the month they signed up and tracks their behavior over time. It's the most important tool for understanding how your customer retention or LTV differs, based on when they joined, what products they first bought, or which marketing channels brought them in.

Can I segment my subscribers based on their status?

Yes. You can create segments for any status, such as subscribers with an 'active' status, 'on-hold', 'cancelled' last week, or with a renewal 'pending' for next week. This is incredibly powerful for sending targeted emails.
