Since early 2018, we've donated 1% of Metorik's revenue to environmental, health, and community projects that we believe make a difference.
Initially we joined 1% for the Planet as a business member , but since 2020 we've been researching and donating directly to various organisations .

Why make a big deal of it with a public page and not just give silently?
Back when I started this program in 2018, I initially hesitated to announce it. But after giving it some thought, I realised that it's important for businesses to be vocal and transparent about their charitable efforts, much like I try to be vocal and transparent about the day-to-day running of Metorik through the Behind the Scenes blog .
Why? It helps inspire others to do the same, and I want customers of Metorik to know that they’re supporting a company with a conscience and desire to do good. Personally, I likely would not have thought to investigate giving a portion of Metorik’s revenue to charity without knowing of an organisation like 1% for the Planet and its many business members that inspire me like Patagonia.
