Metorik for Shopify is here

Almost 4 years ago, we brought Metorik into the world. Since then, we have worked with thousands of eCommerce stores in over 75 countries. All of them have had something in common though - they've run their eCommerce store on WooCommerce.

Why start with only supporting one eCommerce platform? Well, as some of you know, before I started Metorik, I was a part of the WooCommerce team. So when I left WooCommerce/Automattic to build a new product, integrating with WooCommerce from the start just made sense. I also deeply care about the WooCommerce and WordPress community and wanted to help push it forward in my own little way.

However, over the years we've been inundated with requests to bring Metorik to Shopify, many times from our existing customers who have switched platforms. Now that Metorik has been around for several years and (at least to us!) feels like a mature product, we believe we are ready for this next step and that it's in the best interests of all our customers.

So today, I'm excited to share that Metorik is now officially available for Shopify stores! Try it here in just a few clicks.

This was not a decision made in haste. We spent the past 6 months thinking about it, planning it, and slowly integrating it into the existing app - read about the process here.

So what does Metorik for Shopify look like? Well, it's the same Metorik product that's been available for WooCommerce all these years, except now you can connect Shopify stores as well as WooCommerce stores. In building our integration with Shopify, we also developed some new features like a product sales by brand/vendor report and a brand new costs/profit reporting system (more to come on this soon).
